Jerry Joseph Cacciotti, age 89, passed away Tuesday, August 20, at Lakeshore at Siena. He was born in Racine, April 20, 1935, son of the late Jerry and Ruth (Nee: Garner) Cacciotti.

Jerry graduated from Wm Horlick High School “Class of 1953”. He proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1954-1956. On October 17, 1958, he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Arlene Suban and they were blessed with 66 wonderful years together. Jerry was employed as an underwriter for John Hancock Insurance Company for 35 years retiring in 1991. He was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Jerry enjoyed watching westerns, swimming, and coin collecting. He will be remembered for his quick wit, sense of humor and delivering zingers. Above all he treasured time spent with his family especially with his grandchildren. Jerry was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his wife, Arlene; children, Jerry (Terri) Cacciotti, Thomas (Karen) Cacciotti, Ruth Nelson; stepson, Ken (Beti) Menden; grandchildren, Kylie (Xerxes) Okray, Emily (Zack) Skord, Tyler (Samantha) Nelson, Gabriella Cacciotti, Michaella Cacciotti; step grandchildren, Kris Menden, Katie (Jayson) Zayon; step great grandchildren, Nicolette, Kade, and Gavin; his sister, Margie Gatzke; brother-in-law, Jerry Rasmussen; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step grandson, Korey Menden; his sister, Judie Rasmussen; and brothers-in-law, Clyde Gatzke and Darrell Williquette.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1533 Erie Street, Friday, August 30, 2024, 12pm noon with Rev. Steve Varghese officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet prior to the Mass 11 am until time of Mass.
