JoAnn Sharkey

After a courageous battle with cancer, JoAnn Sharkey, age 69, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, November 16, 2016, with her family by her side. JoAnn was born in Racine, April 9, 1947, daughter of the late William and Lillian (Nee: Corbeille) Sharkey. She was employed by Chrysler Corporation for over thirty years, retiring in 2009.

She will be dearly missed by her children, David (Jenifer) Fechner Jr., Michelle Fechner; her grandchildren, Jeremiah Fechner, Destiny Erhardt; sister, Pat Whitney; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings, Beverly, William “Jimmy”, Roger, and Mary.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, November 21, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Rev. George Kafer officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Monday from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M. Memorials to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital have been suggested.
