Jose Angel Salinas

Jose Angel Salinas, age 75, passed away peacefully on Monday morning December 9, 2024. Jose was born in Cotulla, TX on September 18, 1949, son of the late Ramon and Angelina (nee: Charo) Salinas.

He was married to Maria Gomez Martinez on May 2, 1982. Jose spent many hours on the road driving truck around the country. He was a member of the Iglesia Bautista Renacer Church in Racine. In his spare time, Jose enjoyed a good cup of coffee, watching the news and a good walk outdoors.

Jose will be dearly missed by his wife, Maria Salinas; his three children, Juan Salinas of Green Bay, Sandra Salinas of Green Bay and Cindy Salinas of Racine; grandchildren, Mindy Gonzalez, Gilbert Raigoza, Gabrielle Martinez, Eduardo Lopez, Jaqueline Escobar, and Vanessa Hernandez; great grandchildren, Yetzali, Yaretzi, and Oscar Gonzalez Jr., Cantara, Samaiya, and Amira Raigoza, Miliano, Mireya, Marino, and Milani Talamantez, Zenaya and Zekiel Jay Lopez; many step-children and step-great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Gloria Flores, Juan Salinas. Margarita Salinas; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Jose was also preceded in death by his great grandson, Marciano Talamantez.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Sunday December 15, 2024, 4:00 p.m., with Deacon Jose Faz officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 3:00 until time of service at 4:00 p.m. Interment will be held at Graceland Cemetery on Monday at 11:00 a.m.
