It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our special aunt, Josephine Margaret Lettsome who passed away on November 26, 2024 at the age of 92 after a long and beautiful life, at the home of her nephew Anthony and Karen D’Alie along with her family by her side.

She was born in Racine, WI May 23, 1932, daughter of the late Martin and Geltrude (Nee: Lombardo) Anzalone.

Josephine graduated from St. Catherine’s High School “Class of 1950”. On October 11, 1954 she was united in marriage to Richard “Dick” Lettsome who preceded her in death on April 19, 2015. Josephine was employed at J.I. Case Co for over 40 years retiring as an Executive Secretary. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church for many years. A classy lady who always took pride in her appearance and home. She loved going out to eat, quilting, sewing, shopping (with whoever would go with her), gardening (geraniums were her favorite), traveling to Arizona and Italy, puzzles and always socializing with family and friends.

She is survived by nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her sister, Minnie (Vincent) D’Alie and sister-in-law, Jean (Milton) Knauer.

A celebration of life will be held at the funeral home, Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 1 pm. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet prior to the service noon till 1 pm.
