Life Story / Obituary
Judith May Fisher, age 83, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at Ascension All Saints Hospital. She was born in Minocqua WI, September 16, 1941, the 6th of 7 children of the late Gustav and Olive (Nee: Robertson) Bjork.
Judith graduated from Grandview High School “Class of 1959”. On June 16, 1960, she was united in marriage to Gerald L. Fisher and moved to Racine. Gerald passed away November 25, 1989. Judith was employed by J.I. Case Co for many years, retiring in 2006. She was a member of UAW 180. Judith enjoyed crafts especially needle pointing and had made numerous pillowcases and blankets for friends and family members. She enjoyed taking care of her yard, reading, meeting up with friends for lunch, and rooting for her favorite team -The Green Bay Packers. Judith was very opinioned and will be remembered for her strong personality and strong will. Above all she treasured the time spent with family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be dearly missed.
Surviving are her daughter, Patty Brown; 4 grandchildren, Nicholas (Elena) Roosa, Whitney Brown, Quinton Brown, Jessica Fisher; 10 great grandchildren, Damien Gossett, Marie Roosa, Nicholas Roosa, Quinton Brown Jr., Aaliyah Roosa, Cameron Gossett, Malakye Brown, Ayden Brown, Chloe Dupler, Oliver Dupler; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 2 great grandchildren, Anastasia and Joseph Roosa; and her 6 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Thursday, November 14, 2024, 4 pm with Rev. Richard Rogers officiating. Relatives and friends may meet prior to the service 3-4 pm. Private interment will be held at West Lawn Memorial Park.
