Kimberly Marie Sierzega

Kimberly Marie Sierzega, age 51, passed away at her residence, Tuesday, February 11, 2025, after fighting a courageous battle with Pancreatic cancer. She was born in Oak Lawn, IL., September 17, 1973, daughter of Leon and Bernadette (Nee: Vilcek) Nawrot.

On July 29, 1993, Kim was united in marriage to Daniel Sierzega. She was employed by the Oak Lawn School District, affectionately known as Miss Kim. Children brought great joy to Kim daily. Kim was always willing to listen and help anyone she could. Kim’s family and friends always knew they could count on her to be there when they needed her most. Kim was an avid Vikings and Astros fan (at least the Astros got a championship for her haha). Above all it was time spent with her family that she cherished most.

Kim was loved dearly and will be sadly missed by her husband, Dan; her daughter, Caitlyn; her loving fur baby, Rex; parents, Leon and Bernadette Nawrot; brother, Mike Nawrot; brother-in-law and sisters in-law, David (Theresa) Sierzega, Rhonda Sierzega, Nephew, Matthew Sierzega. She was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Ronald (Beverly) Sierzega.

Funeral Services celebrating Kim’s life will be held at the funeral home, 11:30 am, Monday, February 24, 2025. Relatives and friends are welcome to meet with the family for Visitation on Monday. 10:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
