Kionte T.J. Bolton

Kionte Tavaris Javon Bolton, age 30, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, December 23, 2023, at his home. He was born in Racine, December 14, 1993, son of Therese Ann Bolton and Arturo Smith.

Kionte graduated from J.I. Case High School, “Class of 2012” where he was named Captain of the Track Team. He furthered his education attending Jarvis Christian University. Kionte was employed as a caregiver working for Lifestyle Adult Homecare. His pastimes included dancing, skating, and the New Day Winter Guard. Kionte will be remembered for his dancing talent, his boisterous personality and his love for family and friends. He treasured time spent with his family and will be dearly missed.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his mother, Therese Bolton; sister, Kiona Bolton; nephews, Korbin Bolton and Layvon Wilcher; grandparents, Angelee and Bossie Bolton; aunt, Gesila Bolton; uncle, Jonathan Bolton; godmother, Rachel (Patricia Caldwell) Woods; many great aunts and great uncles; special friends, Alexandria Mayfield, Ciara Curtis, Tyla Tatum, Cierra Malone, Shadoris Hamilton, Anastasia Jackson, Tia Thomas, Lateasha Nicole; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Arturo Smith and great grandmother, Catherine Bolton.

Homegoing service will be held at the funeral home, Friday, January 5, 2023, 11 am. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service 10 am – 11 am.
