Linda L. Swanson

Linda L. Swanson, age 82, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Aurora Medical Center Summit. She was born in Racine, January 5, 1943.

On October 9, 1961, Linda was united in marriage to John ‘Jack’ C. Swanson. Linda was a loving wife, mother, and an exceptionally proud grandmother.

She was loved dearly and will be sadly missed by her loving husband, John ‘Jack’ of 64 years; children, Brian Swanson, Jeff (Kim) Swanson, Jenny (Ron) Aune; 7 grandchildren, Kristen Kosterman, Jessica (Nick) Spence, Matthew Swanson, Ryan Swanson, Kevin (Cassey) Carter, Steven Carter and Nicholas Aune; 7 great-grandchildren, Natalie (Kiante) Harris, Christopher Kosterman, Brianna Kosterman, Noah Spence, Hunter Spence, Autumn Carter, Ethan Carter; 3 great-great-grandchildren, Jade Harris, Kayce Harris, Lylah Harris; sister, Christina Perri; in- laws, Joan (Louis) Marano, Gloria (Jim) Puck, Cynthia Andrist; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Michael, sister-in-law, Yvonne (Elroy) Marcussen, brother-in-law, James (Sue) Swanson.

Funeral Services celebrating Linda’s life will be held at the funeral home, 11:30 am, Thursday, March 6, 2025, with Rev. Laura Fladten officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends are welcome to meet with the family for Visitation on Thursday, 10:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
