Lois K. Resheske

Lois Kathryn Resheske died peacefully on March 19, 2026.

Lois was born January 18, 1926, to Mae (McGillivray) and Edward Pearson in Spirit, Wisconsin. After graduating from the local schools, Lois earned degrees in education from Central State Teachers College (UW Stevens Point) and Dominican College, Racine. She was a member of Sigma Lambda Phi Sorority.

Lois had a very successful teaching career in Wisconsin, having taught at Port Edwards, Jefferson and Racine. On June 17, 1950, Lois was united in marriage to Kenneth Resheske at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Tomahawk, Wisconsin. They have two children: a son, Rod (Sue) Resheske and a daughter, Kathleen (Hugh) Walrath.

Lois has five grandchildren; Nick (Mari) Resheske, Jon Resheske, Natasha (Chris) Kostrewa, Christian (Cheyenne) Walrath and Matthew (Heidi) Walrath; and ten great-grandchildren.

Lois was preceded in death by husband Kenneth, brother Donald, sister Geraldine, her parents and two great-grandchildren. She is survived by many nieces, grand-nieces, nephews and grand-nephews.

A Celebration of Life Mass will be shared by the family.
