Margaret "Muggs" Antreassian

Margaret “Muggs” Antreassian (née: Margosian) 89, passed away May 3, 2024, peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Muggs was born in Racine, Wisconsin April 8, 1935, to Charles and Esther Margosian. Muggs was a graduate of Horlick High School, Class of 1954. She was an active member of St. Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church. She was a member of the St. Mesrob Women’s Guild for over 60 years. She married her husband André Antreassian on June 20th,1959.

Muggs had a smile that would light up the room. She lived for Jesus and found purpose in serving the church. She will be remembered for her kindness, patience and love that she reserved for everyone she met.

Muggs was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Esther Margosian; mother and father in-law, Rosette and Souren Antreassian; brother, Sam Margosian; sister, Goldie Roy; brother and sister in-law, René and Gloria Antreassian; brother in-law, Sarkis Gabrielian.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years: André; her sister, Elsie Gabrielian; sister-in-law, Rose Margosian; children, Richard (Tina) Mooradian, Jodie Antreassian-Janiuk, Michele (Chuck) Recupero, Andre (Jody) Antreassian; grandchildren, Aaron, Alex, Jenna, Ana, Ari, Nicole, and Tony; and great-grandson, Andre; and many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services have been changed to Friday for Muggs and will held be at St. Mesrob Armenian Church, 4605 Erie St on Friday, May 17, 2024, 10:30 am with Rev. Avedis Kalayjian officiating. Relatives and friends may meet prior to the service 9-10:30 am. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Mesrob Armenian Church have been suggested.
