Life Story / Obituary
Margaret “Peggy” Ann Vold, age 77, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at Zilber Family Hospice. She was born in Racine, December 3, 1947, daughter of the late James and Lorraine (Nee: Gross) Pedersen.
Peggy was a graduate of Park High School, “Class of 1966”. On April 22, 1967, Peggy was united in marriage to Peter Vold. She was employed as one of the first tellers at the original Educators Credit Union before working for Leman USA Inc, for 13 years until her retirement in 2008. Peggy was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was an avid Brewer and Packer fan and took great pride in her flower gardens.
She was loved dearly and will be sadly missed by her husband, Peter of 58 years; her son, Aaron; brothers, James (Stephanie) Pedersen, George Pedersen; sister-in-law, Sue (Wally) Kierstyn; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother William Pedersen.
Interment will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Memorials to the Wounded Warriors Project have been suggested by the family.
