Marguerite "Margie" Cacciotti Gatzke, age 91 passed away April 11, 2025, at Hospice Alliance in Kenosha, WI.

She was born in Racine on July 26, 1933, the daughter of the late Jerry & Ruth Cacciotti. Margie went to local schools and graduated from Racine Horlick High School in 1952.

Margie was married 3 times to Robert “Bob” Rowland on 12/27/52, Louis “Bud” Regnier on 11/28/68, and Clyde Gatzke on 6/20/81. Margie worked for the clerk of courts in Racine County and retired after many years of service. Margie then got her real estate license and went to work for Tony Trentadue at Beacon Reality. Margie ran a dancing school with her helpful assistant, stepmother Veronica Cacciotti (Prout), and for many years, it was called Margie School of Dance (Marjoriettes). She taught 100's of students Tap, Ballet, & Baton. Margie loved to dance and danced most of her life. Her Marjoriettes marched in all local parades and had her yearly dance recitals at St Catherine's High School. Margie loved teaching her students, enjoying family gatherings, and dancing her heart out at weddings with her sister Judie. Margie loved her family, especially all her grandchildren, and going up north with her late husband Clyde.

Surviving are her 2 sons, Mike Rowland (Karen), Mark Regnier (Tammy); step-children, Rich, Ron & Dave; grandchildren, Katie Rowland, Trisha Chaloupka, Samantha Plank (Tara), Timothy Langley, Kaley Regnier, Kristal Fleischmann (Andy); great grandchildren, Colton Flores, Shiloh Chaloupka, Erica and Aubrey Fleischmann; step brother, Patrick Prout (Patti); sister-in-law, Arlene Cacciotti; brother-in-law, Jerry Rasmussen; Mom’s Very Special friend, Arthur Goldberrg; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends, and her dogs, Lacey, Toby, Suzzie, and Petie. She was preceded in death by her parents, stepmother, Veronica “Bonnie” Cacciotti (Prout), 3 husbands and 2 siblings, Jerry Cacciotti and Judie Rasmussen.

Special thanks to her close friends Tony Trentadue, formal caretakers, Bea Veland, Christi Amort, Tracy Harris, and Robin, Kenosha Place senior living in Kenosha (Ted & Destiny), Aurora Hospital, her dog Lacy's sitter, Samantha Kupper, her neighbors, Bob "Gonzo" (Donna), Maryanne, Ava, Ron and Karen, social worker, Kourtney and a Super Thank you to Hospice Alliance of Kenosha, WI.

Funeral services will be held at Marsh-Meredith and Acklam Funeral Home, Friday, April 18, 2025, 9:30 am with Reverend Laura Fladten officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home Thursday 4-7 pm and on Friday 9 – 9:30 am.
