Marilyn Ruth Stephens

Marilyn Ruth Stephens, age 93, passed away Friday, July 24, 2026, at Ascension All Saints Hospital. She was born in Racine, WI, February 3, 1933, the 7th of 12 children of the late John and Mathilda (Nee: Stepanski) Witkofski. Marilyn attended Wm. Horlick High School.

On June 28, 1952, at St. Patrick Catholic Church she was united in marriage to Donald Stephens and they were married for 64 years when he passed away July 15, 2016. Marilyn had been a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, baking- she made the best Apple Sheet pie, and playing cards especially Schafkopf. Marilyn will be remembered for her great memory, her willingness to always help anyone and for being loving, caring and selfless. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt who will be dearly missed.

Surviving are her son, Randy Stephens; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Stephens; grandson, Brian Stephens; nieces and nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her son, John Stephens; and siblings, Dorothy, Ambrose, Lorraine, Elaine, Laverne, Elmer, Kenneth, Mathilda, Carol, RuthAnn, and Nancy.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 3, 2026, 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Reverend Kenneth Mich officiating. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Garden Mausoleum, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family prior to the service10:00 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M.
