Life Story / Obituary
Marjorie Mae Russell, age 78, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Ascension All Saints Medical Center. She was born in Stevens Point, WI, September 21, 1947, daughter of the late James and Maxine (Nee: Tubbs) Russell.
Marge was a graduate of William Horlick High School, “Class of 1965”. She had a strong work ethic and primarily worked in accounts receivable at various companies including Hamilton Beach and Dumore until her retirement. Marge devoted her life to her family and never missed a function or event that would bring everyone together. She will forever be remembered for her love of reading, movies, music, nature, plants, the Racine Beach and the Green Bay Packers.
She was loved dearly and will be sadly missed by her siblings, Maureen “Gret” Polly, William (Chris) Russell, Gary (Linda) Russell, Maxine (Dale) Bates, Patricia Russell (Mark Beutler), nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parent’s, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Thomas Russell, Kathy (Wesley) VanMarter, Shirley (John) Davis, Jean (James) Gustin.
Funeral Services celebrating Marge’s life will be held at 11:00 am, at the funeral home, Saturday, October 25, 2025. Relatives and friends are welcome to meet with the family for Visitation on Saturday at 10:00 am until time of service. To honor Marge’s love of the Packers, the family requests that Packer apparel or colors be worn. Memorials to the Racine Public Library have been suggested by the family.
