Marsha Claire Weeks

Marsha Claire Weeks, age 81, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Milwaukee, WI, April 23, 1942, the oldest of 5 children of the late Robert and LaVerne (Nee: Prien) Hintz.

Marsha graduated from Greendale High School “Class of 1960”. On August 18, 1962, she was united in marriage to Wayne D. Weeks who preceded her in death July 14, 2015. Marsha was a member of Grace Church. She was a regular “Martha Stewart” who excelled in everything she did from cooking, baking, gardening, painting, counted cross-stitch, quilting, and sewing to remodeling and deck building. She was easily the most talented person in the room. Above all, she treasured time spent with her family.

Surviving are her children, Robert (Wendy) Weeks of Racine, Heidi (Patrick) Nelson of Burlington, Beth (Josh) Raskob of Colorado/Washington; five grandchildren, Spencer, Noah, Chloe, Riley, Mayu; siblings, Michael (Marge) Hintz of Antigo, Robert (Lynne) Hintz of Franklin, James (Pollyanna) Hintz of Tennessee, Cynthia (Ed) Reed of Waterford; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at Maresh-Meredith & Acklam Funeral Home, 803 Main St., Racine, Saturday, January 27, 2024, 11 am with Isaac Miller officiating. Private interment will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery, Oak Creek. Relatives and friends may meet with the family prior to the service at the funeral home 10-11 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Grace Church or the American Cancer Society have been suggested
