Mary Elizabeth Drier

Mary Elizabeth Drier, age 72, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Oak Park Place in Burlington. She was born in Racine, on August 15, 1952, daughter of the late Arthur and Elizabeth (Nee: Jacob) Schatzley.

On July 7, 1973, Mary was united in marriage to Patrick Michael Drier who preceded her in death on January 25, 2018. Mary was a member of St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church. Mary loved to care for people in need and was a volunteer at the hospital in the ER while also raising children. She enjoyed word search puzzles, her daily soap opera, Days of our Lives, but above all she cherished time spent with her family.

She was loved dearly and will be sadly missed by her children, Christopher (Stacy) Drier, Cory (Jeremy) Fitch, and Beth Drier; grandchildren, Thomas Fitch, Molly Drier, Elijah, Amara and Amelia Davis; great grandson Essex Davis; brothers, Dennis (Kathy) Schatzley, Frank Schatzley; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte (Thomas) Pfeiffer.

Funeral Services celebrating Mary’s life will be held at 11:00 am at the funeral home, Friday, March 21, 2025. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Garden Mausoleum. Relatives and friends are welcome to meet with the family for Visitation on Friday, 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorials to Debra (Debra. Org) have been suggested.
