Merry Carol Carey

Merry Carol Carey, age 59, passed away July 23, 2020. She was born in Lansing, MI October 25, 1960 daughter of Thomas D. and Marilyn (Nee: Hickok) Carey.

Merry was a graduate from William Horlick High School, “Class of 1978”. Upon graduation she enlisted in the US Army and proudly served her country. After discharge she attended UW Parkside and was employed in several jobs in Racine and Kenosha.

She is survived by her Mother, Marilyn; two brothers, Daniel of Racine, Patrick (Sheila) Carey of Fort Worth, TX; Aunt Marlene Hickok of Portage, MI, Uncle Dennis (Suling) Hickok of Henderson, NV; also surviving are her son, David Carey of South Milwaukee; grandsons, Kyle, Ryan and Zander; 12 cousins other relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her Father, Thomas Carey, grandparents, Keith (Laura) Hickok, Bernard (Clarice Nee: Robison) Carey; uncles, Dr. David Hickok, James (Joann) Carey, Ralph and Margaret Nee: Carey) Dreyer.

Interment with full Military Honors were held with friends and family attending Monday, August 24, 2020 at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Town of Dover.
