Nancy Lee Parco, age 91, passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at Parkview Gardens.
Nancy was born in Racine, May 2, 1934, daughter of the late Jens and June (Nee: Iverson) Jacobsen. She graduated from Wm Horlick High School “Class of 1952” and went on to earn her teaching degree, teaching at Wadewitz Elementary School in the early sixties.
On August 11, 1956, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Paul S. Parco and they were blessed with 3 sons, Kevin, Kent, and Kerry. Paul and Nancy owned and operated Taylor Avenue Furniture for 54 years, until retirement. Paul passed away last October 2, 2024, after 68 years of marriage. Nancy enjoyed her women’s club with her close high school friends for the better part of her life. Above all Nancy’s passion was being a wife , mother and grandmother. She treasured time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.
Surviving are her sons, Kevin (Beth) Parco, Kerry (Marcia) Parco; daughter-in-law, Lori Minnetti Parco; grandchildren, Natalie (Joseph) Gilboy, Stephanie Parco (Ryan Smith); Veronica Parco, Vincent Parco; great grandchildren, Cooper and Addison Gilboy; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Kent; sister, Karlyn J. Sawisky Morris; and brothers-in-law, Fred Sawisky and Victor Morris.
Private services will be held with interment at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Memorials to the Alzheimer’s/Dementia Assn or Susan G Komen Breast Cancer foundation have been suggested.
