Paul Joseph Erickson

Paul Joseph Erickson, age 68, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Bellin Hospital, Green Bay, WI. He was born in Racine, WI, September 3, 1955, the 4th of 4 children of the late Daniel and Elizabeth (Nee: Wiandt) Erickson.

Paul graduated from Washington Park High School, “Class of 1973”. On October 2, 1976, at St. Edward’s Catholic Church he was united in marriage to Judith M. Rannow. They were blessed with two children, Daniel and Jessica. Paul was employed by the Airline industry in equipment service for 40 years, retiring from Delta Airlines in 2013.

Paul’s pastimes included bowling, deer hunting and fishing. He served on the Boards of the Racine Bowling Association and the Trestle Board League. In his younger days he enjoyed playing City League softball. More than anything he treasured time spent with his family especially his grandchildren. Paul was a devoted husband, father, and Papa who will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Judy; children, Daniel (Abigail) Erickson, Jessica (James) Luckett; grandchildren, Lily and Xavier Erickson, Anna and Sara Luckett; sisters, Joan (James) Mattice, Linda (Ronald) Blaski; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Susan Haas, Patricia Rigby, Louis (Karen) Rannow, Peggy (Thomas) Nielsen; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Elizabeth (Keith) Heckel; brothers-in-law, Ronald Haas and Terry Rigby; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Louis and Marilyn Rannow.

Relatives and friends may gather with the family at the funeral home, Thursday, December 21, 2023, from 3-6 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials to one’s favorite charity have been suggested.
