Randall “Randy” Lee Aukland, age 66, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on June 30, 2021. Randy was born in Fargo, ND on April 1, 1955, son of Richard and Marvel (nee: Nygaard) Aukland and moved to Racine from Shelly, MN at the age of two.

Randy graduated from Walden High School “Class of 1973”. His greatest accomplishment was raising five sons, instilling in them his values and work ethic, and offering them diverse childhood experiences. In his spare time, Randy enjoyed vacations in his motorhome with his family, boating, sailing, deep sea fishing, visiting estate sales, collecting antiques, and his classic car collection, especially trucks from the 1940’s and 1950’s.

He built a successful real estate portfolio and owned and operated prominent local management companies Belle City Apartment Rentals and Lincoln Management. Randy was also instrumental in restoring the historic Lincoln Block building on State Street, for which he was recognized with the Belle Award from the City of Racine. He will be fondly remembered for his quick wit, sense of humor, ambition, creativity, hard work ethic, and above all his great love for his family.

Randy will be dearly missed by his parents, Richard and Marvel Aukland of Racine, his five sons, Erik (Jana Felbinger) Aukland of Redondo Beach, CA, Tyler Aukland of Racine, Shaun Aukland of San Francisco, CA, Jacob (Chelsy) Aukland of Racine, Krisjan (Kelsey Krimmer) Aukland of Union Grove; grandchildren, Eva, Markus, Prestin, Ayviana and Briston; brothers, Charles Aukland, Kurt Aukland; sister, Michelle Aukland; aunties, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, July 10, 2021, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM with services celebrating Randy’s life to start at 4:00 PM.

The family extends a special thank you to Aurora Oncology and Aurora at Home for their loving and compassionate care.
