Life Story / Obituary
Renee Marie Polack (nee Perez), age 54, died peacefully surrounded by her family Thursday, December 22, 2022, at M Health Fairview Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. Renee was born in Racine on October 10, 1968 to Santiago Perez and Kathleen (nee: Griffin) Wilcox and lived in Racine most of her life.
Renee moved to Crandon, WI in the summer of 2021 to be closer to her sister Jessica. Her passion was her family, she showed her love through her delicious dishes and was always there cooking at a family members milestone. In Crandon she was known for making entire Thanksgiving and Christmas meals for all of the people in her building. She often cooked/cleaned for people who were sick or in need. Renee was a movie buff and enjoyed the simple life, curling up on the couch with a Dr. Pepper and one of her favorite movies from her vast collection. Renee followed the Royal Family with a special love for Princess Diana because of her kindness to people and had a large Princess Diana collection. Renee will be remembered for her extraordinary love for her sons and would do anything for them. She had a heart of gold and showed unconditional love to her family and friends. Above all she was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter and sister.
Renee will be missed by her children: Justin Conwell, Jacob Polack-Perez, Joseph Polack, and Jordan Polack; granddaughter, Jada; parents, Kathleen Griffin-Wilcox, Santiago (Jim) and Corinne Perez; grandparents Bernard and Claudette Walli; siblings, Alex (Michelle) Perez, Alana Perez-Valliere, Jessica (Ira) Frank, Daniel Perez, Corina (Frank) Bodnar, Alexa (Joe) Dufore, Charity (Bill) DiGioia, Dominick Perez, Analisa Ruiz. Nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, very special family friend Marcia Stachowiak, niece Bluesky Meshigaud and close friend, Robin Bytell who during the past year spent countless hours by Renee's side, enjoying each other's company and helping care for her.
