4, 2025 at Ascension All Saints Medical Center. Robert was born in Racine on October 15, 1943, son of the late Max and Mary “Dolly” (nee: Plein) Mutchler.

Bob was a proud graduate of St. Catherine’s High School “Class of 1962”. On November 12, 1966, Bob was united in marriage to his high school sweetheart, Rosalie Konicek. They raised four children, Vincent, Robert, Marialyce, and Kathryn, and shared fifty-nine wonderful years together.

As a student at St. Catherine’s High School, Bob played football and participated in theatre. After graduation, Bob worked several jobs before settling at SC Johnson where he held several positions both in Wisconsin and Ohio. Bob was employed with SC Johnson for thirty-three years before retiring in 2001. Bob was deeply respected and admired by his colleagues---honored with one of the largest retirement parties at the time.

After retirement, Bob was passionate about training dogs. He was involved with the Racine Kennel Club for many years and trained countless dogs. Bob also enjoyed reading, traveling, NASCAR, Green Bay Packers and time up north on Musser Lake at his vacation home fishing, enjoying the outdoors and spending quality time with his family and friends. Bob traveled extensively in the United States and around the world including multiple trips to Europe and Africa.

Bob will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Rosalie; children, Vincent Mutchler, Robert (Margaret Loehrke) Mutchler, Marialyce (Brian Rettmann) Mutchler and Kathryn Mutchler; grandchildren, Caroline (Chris) Brown and Agnes-Senga Tupper; great grandchildren, Keelia, Finn and Eloise; in-laws, Beverly Mutchler, Jane Mutchler, Nancy Mutchler, Edward Konicek, Marianne Summers, Mary (Marc) Nielsen, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including life-long best friend Thomas (Jean) Meyers. In addition to his parents, Bob was also preceded in death by his brothers, Richard, Leo and twin brother, William Mutchler.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 6400 Spring Street, on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, 12:00 p.m. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until Mass at noon.
