Terry W. Koechell

April 1, 1940 – May 28, 2022

Terry passed away on May 28, 2022 at Seasons Hospice and Pallative Care in Oak Creek, after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia.

Terry was born on April 1, 1940, the son of Sylvester and Mildred (Miller) Koechell. Terry graduated from Washington Park High School in 1958.

On July 15, 1960, Terry was united in marriage to his sweetheart Janice Jean Hansen.

Terry worked as a Regional Sales Rep and Designer for National Homes and Walnut Homes. He then worked for Butterfield-Rudy, and Seitz Architects until he retired. After retirement, he worked part-time for his son-in-law building training equipment for HVAC contractors.

Terry was involved in the churches he attended and served on the Board of Directors and Property Management Committees.

Terry enjoyed fishing and camping with his family. He was an avid jogger and was passionate about music, movies, computers, and electronics. He was artistic and enjoyed drawing, painting, and making wooden ornaments. He loved watching football and was a diehard Packer fan. Above all, it was time with his family that he cherished the most.

Terry was loved dearly and will be sadly missed by his loving wife Janice; sons Kevin (Elizabeth) Koechell, Keith (Terri Rexroat) Koechell; daughter Kimberly (Christopher) Mohalley; 7 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Linda (Phillip) Laymon; sisters-in-law JoAnn Hansen and Judi Evinic; good friend and cousin Barbara Miller; best friend John Kendall; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Terry is preceded in death by his parents Sylvester and Mildred (Miller) Koechell; his in-laws Oscar and Minnie (Klaus) Hansen; brothers-in-law Richard Hansen, Thomas Fehlberg, Charles Evinic and Thomas Hansen; and sisters-in-law Joan (Hansen) Fehlberg and Jeannette (Post) Hansen.
