Thomas Kemp Casebolt II, age 71, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2025, surrounded by family. He was born in Philadelphia, PA, the second of four children to Thomas and Delores (Nee: Rexilius) Casebolt.

Tom grew up in Racine and graduated from Wm Horlick High School “Class of 1972”. On June 25, 1977, he was united in marriage to Susan K. Andersen, at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Tom was a union millwright for 35 years, retiring in 2014.

Tom was an avid golfer. You could find him on the golf course 4-5 times a week. It was never a surprise to find him in the first group teeing off at Johnson Park on any given Saturday (rain, shine, or frost delay) or with his Tuesday Night Golf League at Ives. In his career, he managed to record 3 holes in one and even shot an 80 in his last round. Being a good all-around athlete Tom also played City League softball and volleyball on championship teams. His sports enthusiasm transferred to his kids which allowed him to be “Coach Tom” to not only them but so many other volleyball players in the Racine area. Tom was also everybody’s handyman and was the proprietor of “Tom’s Fix it Shop” and always made sure to complete every task on his “Sonny Do List” when visiting his mom in Florida.

Above all Tom treasured the time spent with family. He was a proud Dad and “Grumpy” Papa and went to ALL the kids and grandkids events. He was a good, very kind man, and will be dearly missed by so many.

Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Sue; his children, Michael (Elizabeth) Casebolt of Lynchburg, VA, Katie (Phil) Belongia of Racine, Kara (Derik) Avery of Racine; 7 grandchildren, Thatcher and Jonas Casebolt, Aria, Aurora, and Holden Kemp Belongia, James and Baylor Avery; his mother, Delores Casebolt; siblings, Mary (Michael) Lees, Dave (Kim) Casebolt, Julie (Walter) Inman, Tim (Nancy) Andersen, Dan (Karen) Andersen, Ted (Janice Weber) Andersen, Tina (Tim) Griesbaum; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Casebolt, his in-laws, Jens and Barbara Andersen and his beloved Aunt Jo.

Relatives and friends may meet with the family on Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 9-11AM. A memorial service at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Doidge officiating will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Heart Assn have been suggested.

The service will be live-streamed and can be viewed at https://www.facebook.com/meredithfuneralhome/

The family would like to express their profound gratitude to all the medical professionals who cared for Tom with special thanks to Adam and Kat at Froedtert South.
