Life Story / Obituary
Virgina “Ginny” Cramer, age 89, passed to the Lord's care on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born in Racine, WI, November 25, 1934, daughter of the late Peter and Margaret (Nee; Flynn) Berres.
Ginny graduated from St. Catherine's High School "Class of 1953". She was united in marriage at Holy Name Church September 1, 1958, to Kenneth Cramer, who preceded her in death August 12, 2002. Virginia was also preceded in death by her brother David (Joellen) Berres.
Virginia dedicated her career to the Racine and Madison school districts. She was a proud member of the Racine Sweet Adelines, loved to travel, sew, knit, shop, and was very family oriented. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed.
Surviving are her children, Daniel (Colleen) Cramer, Karen (Paul) Buscemi; grandchildren, Stephanie Clark, Stacie (Miguel Acosta) Cramer, Hannah (Tyler DeValk), and Bella Buscemi; great-grandchildren, Zachary Clark, Aiden and Nolen Wigner, and Brielle Cramer; nieces, Mary (Bob) Hunter, Debbie (Scott) Bergerson, and Cindy (Kevin) Delaney; and other close family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held at the funeral home, Wednesday, October 2, 2024, 7 pm with Rev. Craig Richter officiating. Relatives and friends may meet prior to the service 5-7 pm. Private interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
