Life Story / Obituary
Vyloris Evett Ivey, lovingly known as “Vye,” passed away peacefully at the age of 60. Born on December 31, 1965, in San Antonio, Texas, Vye was a beautiful soul whose kindness, strength, and love touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Vye was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She leaves behind her loving children, Jessie Lee Price II (Amber), Leresa Renee Price, and Benjamin Thomas Price. She is also survived by her beloved mother, Rosalind Woolridge; her sisters Liwanna, Trulina, her twin sister Charlais Vanett, Andrea, and Belinda; her brother Benjamin; her mother-in-law, Gloria Price; her grandsons, Blaze and Ramses; as well as many extended family members and loved ones who will forever cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her father, Benjamin Woolridge.
Vye dedicated over 20 years of hard work and commitment to CNH Industrial. Outside of work, she found joy in life’s simple treasures — photography, watching movies, spending time with family, and loving on her spoiled companion, Sugar. She had a deep faith in God, lived as a devoted Christian, and could never turn down a good caramel macchiato.
Those who knew Vye will remember her for her warm heart, caring spirit, and the way she made people feel loved and welcomed. Her laughter, love, and beautiful presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing her love and memories will live on through all who knew her.
Funeral services celebrating Vye’s life will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 am, Wednesday, May 20, 2026. Relatives and friends are welcome to meet with the family for Visitation on Wednesday, at 10:00 am until time of service.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff at Heartland Hospice, especially Brittany, Liza and Angela, for their loving and compassionate care.
