With his family by his side, William L. “Bill” Bieneman, age 90, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday morning, July 17, 2026. William was born in Burlington on January 6, 1936, son of the late Henry and Joan (nee: Kasprzak) Bieneman.
Bill graduated from Burlington St. Mary’s High School “Class of 1954”. Following graduation, he proudly served in the U.S. Navy and made numerous trips to the Pacific on the ship, the USS General W. They raised four children, Terri, Kathy, Bill G. and Susan and shared sixty-eight beautiful years together. In June of 1961, he graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from MSOE. Bill was employed as an Electrical Engineer by Howard Industries and Dumore Corp., and retired from Motor Specialty in 1998. In his spare time, he volunteered at Toys for Tots, helped with the St. Rose Meal program and delivering groceries. He enjoyed working in his yard and in his vegetable garden, playing golf in the Senior League, working the crossword and jumble puzzles in the paper, and cheering on the Badgers, Brewers and Packers. Above all, Bill cherished his time with his family, especially with his grandchildren and great grandchildren by working on projects in the workshop, running the Model HO trains, building snow forts, fishing and playing in the back yard.
