Willie Mae Gilliam, age 65, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2020 at Froedtert Hospital South, Kenosha. She was born in Racine July 31, 1954 daughter of the late Willie and Lillie Bell (Nee: Monroe) Gilliam.

Willie Mae graduated from Washington Park High School “Class of 1972”. She was employed for many years at AMC and Chrysler Corp. She was a member of Second Missionary Baptist Church. Willie Mae enjoyed playing cards, dancing and anything that included family. She will be dearly missed.

Those left to cherish her memory include her siblings, Velma (Thomas) Pegues, Willie (Barbara) Whiteside, Murl Gilliam-Monroe, Earl Gilliam-Monroe; a host of beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings, Parthenia (Willie) Johnson, Zannie (Curtis) McClain, Pearl Harris, Willie B. (Eula) Gilliam Jr., and Luther McGee.

Due to the current health regulations private services will be held followed by interment at Graceland Cemetery. The service can be viewed livestream Friday, June 5, 2020, 11:00 am by going to www.meredithfuneralhome.com Willie Mae Gilliam page service and press livestream. A viewing will be held Friday at the funeral home 9:30 am until 10:30 am. Current group limits of 25 will be observed. All guests are asked to wear a mask
