Life Story / Obituary
Marina Michelle Harden, age 28, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, October 1, 2022, at her residence due to the rare disease Guillain-Barré syndrome which was the result of a reaction to the Covid vaccination.
Marina was born in Tempe, AZ, the first of three children of Anthony and Michelle (Nee: Petsinger) Harden. She graduated from Desert Vista High School “Class of 2012” in Phoenix, AZ, earned her BS from Arizona State University, and her Masters from Pepperdine University. Marina had worked at ICE in California and moved to Milwaukee, WI in 2020 with her mother. She was currently working for the US Postal Service. Marina enjoyed traveling and most recently painting. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, love of spicy food, and the love of her family. Marina was a loving daughter, sister and friend who will be dearly missed.
Surviving are her mother, Michelle Harden of Milwaukee; father, Anthony Harden of Phoenix; sister Mykela; brother, Anthony Jr; nephew and godson, Carson; grandmother, Irene Szabo; aunts and uncles, Mike (Mari) Petsinger, Debbie (Mark) Rooney, Catherine (Mike) Czarnecki , Christine Petsinger, Patricia Petsinger, Robert Petsinger; many cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Patricia Petsinger; and cousin, Jenny Rooney.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 6400 Spring Street, Tuesday, October 11, 2022, 12 pm. Relatives and friends may meet for visitation prior to Mass 10am until 12 pm.
