Aaron L. Lundquist

Aaron L. Lundquist, age 34, passed away on Friday March 11, 2016 as the result of a tragic car accident. Aaron was born in Racine on March 3, 1982, son of Eric and Louise (nee: Spang) Lundquist.

He had been employed with Cree Technologies for the past nine months. A talented artist, Aaron worked in many different mediums, but especially enjoyed working with clay. He also expressed himself well through poetry and was published. An outgoing individual with a vibrant personality, Aaron loved life and people.

He will be dearly missed by his son, Elijah; his father, Eric (Carol) Lundquist of Necedah; siblings, John (Meegan) Lundquist, Joe Lundquist, Shane (Melissa) Shaw, Marc Spang, and Anna Garcia; his girlfriend, Kara Olson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Aaron was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Garcia and his grandparents.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2016, 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Kevin Mieczkowski officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Wednesday at the funeral home from 4:00 P.M. until time of service at 6:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Racine Arts Council have been suggested. Private interment will be held.
