Alvin E Broughton departed this life on Tuesday, February 28, 2023. He was born June 7, 1954, to Alvin and Earline (Parks) Broughton. He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, LaShanda Broughton; one son, Darnell Broughton, both of Racine, WI; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; three sisters: Nancy Rideout of Milwaukee, WI, Glenda (Sidney) Ryans of Greensboro, AL, Gail (Vincent) Williams of Tuscaloosa, AL; two brothers; Charles of New Orleans, LA, and Arnell of Racine, WI; seven nieces and six nephews. He is furthered survived by six great nephews, 14 great nieces, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents: William H. & Laura I. (Crain) Broughton and Lonnie (Sr.) & Ira (Paskel) Parks, three sisters: Barbara Ann Hampton, Lois Marie Artis, and Patricia Ann Broughton and one brother, Larry Broughton.

A Memorial Service celebrating Alvin’s life will be held at the funeral home, 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 18, 2023, with Rev. Joseph Pipes officiating. Relatives and friends are welcome to meet with the family for visitation, Saturday, 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
