Ann Marie Bredow, age 88, passed away Monday, April 29, 2024, at Aurora Medical Center, Mt. Pleasant. Ann was born in Racine, February 8, 1936, daughter of the late Rudolph and Rose Nee: Cucciare) Tyler.

Ann cherished her younger years at Sacred Heart Grade School and graduated from St. Catherine’s High School, “Class of 1954”. Ann was employed as an L.P.N. at Wheaton Franciscan- All Saints, and Willowcrest Health Services, South Milwaukee until her retirement. Ann was a member of St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church and the Vittoria Colonna Lodge.

Ann loved to cook, liked to shop alone, enjoyed attending productions at the Racine Theater Guild, and cherished time spent having lunch, with her high school girlfriends, once a month.

She was loved dearly and will be sadly missed by her children, Daniel (Debra) Bredow of Mpls, MN, Mary J. (Kraig) Bryant of Racine; 5 grandchildren, Tyler, Parker, Morgan, Sydney and Emma; great grandchildren, Clover, Colette and Clara; sister, Antoinette “Cookie” Walek; other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, James L. Bredow, brother, Robert Tyler and brother-in-law, Edward Walek.

Funeral Services celebrating Ann’s life will be held at the funeral home, 2:00 pm, Sunday, May 19, 2024. Relatives and friends are welcome to meet with the family for Visitation, Sunday 1:00 pm until time of service at the funeral home. Private entombment will take place at Holy Cross Garden Mausoleum, Hwy. 32.
