Life Story / Obituary
Surrounded by her loving family, Anne M. Cooper, age 54, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at her residence. Anne was born in Augsburg, Germany, March 29, 1959, daughter of Roy and Patricia J. (Nee: Fredericks) Radke.
Anne was a graduate of St. Catherine’s High School “Class of 1977,” and furthered her education at U.W. Parkside. On June 29th, 1990, at Meadowbrook Country Club, Racine, WI, she was united in marriage to Philippe J. Cooper M.D. Always with a flair for design, Anne was self-employed as an interior decorator for many years. She was a former member of Holy Name Catholic Church (presently St. Richard) and was last attending Lumen Christi Catholic Church of Mequon. Anne’s strong devotion to her faith and time spent with her family, especially trips to Door County and New York were most dear to her. She will be deeply missed.
Survivors include her loving husband, Philippe; her children, Colette and Matthew; her parents, Roy and Patricia Radke of Racine; her brothers and sisters, Kurt (Loreen) Radke of Northville, MI, Karl (Jacqueline) Radke of Racine, Lisa (Robert) Zemke, Khris (Janet) Radke, all of Oak Creek, Paul (Tina) Radke, Julie (Darrel) Johnson, Claire Weiss, Tricia (Darin) Evans, Mike Radke, Dan (Janet) Radke, all of Racine, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, June 22, 2013, 11:00 A.M. at St. Richard Catholic Church, 1503 Grand Avenue, with her cousin Rev. William A. Noe, S.J. officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday at the funeral home from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. and Saturday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until time of Mass at 11:00 A.M. Private interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date.
The family extends a special thank you to Drs. Judy Tjoe and Magdalena Flejsierowicz and their staff at the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic of Aurora Sinai.
