Barbara J. Michelman

Barbara Jeanne Michelman, age 77, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Parkview Gardens. She was born in Rice Lake, WI, August 5, 1948, daughter of the late Warren and Elaine (Nee: Wegan) Anderson.

Barbara graduated from Frederic High School in Frederic, WI, “Class of 1966”. She moved to Racine, WI, where she found employment at Racine Hydraulics and also found the love of her life, Ronald L. Michelman. They were married March 10, 1976, and had just celebrated 50 years together. Barbara had a passion for flower gardening, creating floral arrangements, and animals. She and Ronald enjoyed traveling all 50 states and cruising especially Hawaii. She will be dearly missed.

Surviving are her husband, Ronald; sisters, Margaret (Richard) Garbo, Kathy (Gary) Brown; nephews and nieces, Michael (Mary) Kinney, David (Diane) Kinney, Linda Miller; other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Allen Anderson.

Private services will be held with entombment at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Memorials to H.O.P.E. Safehouse have been suggested.
