Bob Haralambos Eliades, "Bob the Greek" age 90, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023, at his residence. He was born in Thessaloniki, Greece, February 10, 1933, son of the late Constantinos and Sevasti (Nee: Notarithou) Eliades.

On September 1, 1963, Bob was united in marriage to Olympia Ananiadis who preceded him in death, August 19, 2023. Shortly after their marriage they relocated to Racine where Bob was employed by J. I. Case Company for thirty-one years, retiring in 1995. Bob was a long-time member of Kimissis tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church. Bob served in the Korean War under the Greek Air Force. He was extremely proud when he received his U.S. Citizenship and always appreciative of the opportunity, he was given in America which allowed him to prosper. Bob recently was humbled to have had the privilege to participate on the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight. In his spare time, Bob loved gardening.

He was loved dearly and will be sadly missed by his sons, Steve Christo, Constantinos “Dino” Eliades (Colleen Murray); brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, John (Ann) Ananiadis, Maria Zarkos, Sofia Ananiadis; nieces, nephews other relatives and dear friends. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Koula Eliades, Anna (Stelios) Antonoylou; and brother, Paul (FoFo) Eliades.

Funeral services celebrating Bob’s life will be held Thursday, October 26, 2023, 11:30 am, at Kimissis tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church, 1335 S. Green Bay Rd., with Rev. John Ketchum officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends are welcome to meet with the family for Visitation, Thursday, 10:30 am until time of service at the church. Memorials to Kimissis tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church have been suggested by the family.

A very special thank you to Olympia and Lefty Veziridis, Nancy and Jeff Kowalczuk, Lynn and Steve Vanderheyden, Marji and Mario Bruno, and Hospice Alliance for their loving and compassionate care shown to Bob.
