With her family by her side, Carol Lynn Boehlke, age 78, passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday morning, April 2, 2024. Carol was born in Racine on October 30, 1945, daughter of the late Omer and Rose (nee: Topalian) Witte.

Carol was a proud graduate of Washington Park High School “Class of 1964”. On August 15, 1964, Carol was united in marriage to the love of her life, Gary E. Boehlke. They raised three children, Daryl, Laura and Michael and shared nearly sixty beautiful years together. Carol was employed with In-Sink-Erator for thirty-three years before retiring. She was a dedicated member of St. Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church where she volunteered with their women’s guild, and helped visit shut-ins and the infirmed. In her spare time, Carol enjoyed painting, craft fairs, antiquing, finding new collectibles and gardening. She had a flair for decorating and designing her house inside and out. Above all, Carol will be remembered for her love and dedication to her family.

Carol will be dearly missed by her husband, Gary; children, Daryl (Desiree) Boehlke, Michael (Candy) Boehlke, and Laura Boehlke; grandchildren, Clodagh and Evelyn, Kheairah, Juliiana and Amelia, Gary, Caleb, Garrick and Lauren; siblings, Betty (Ron) Masik, David Witte and Don (Sally) Witte; her special niece Jackie Masik, other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Carol was also preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Zartar and Mihran Topalian, who helped raise her.

Visitation will be held at St. Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church, 4605 Erie Street, on Tuesday April 9, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 with the funeral service to start at 11:00 a.m. Private interment will be held at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
