Carol Lynn Bressett

Carol Bressett, age 76, passed away at her residence, Friday, April 19, 2024. She was born in Racine, July 15, 1947. She is one of eight children born to the late Charles and Mildred (Nee: Hughes) Brunnelson.

Carol graduated from Wm. Horlick High School, “Class of 1965”. She continued her education graduating from Nursing School at Racine Gateway Technical College. Carol worked as a nurse at Ascension All Saints until her retirement in 2017.

Carol was very passionate about all animals but was devoted to her pets. She had many horses, dogs German Shepherds), cats and a bird or two Her pets were like children to her and her love and devotion never wavered.

Carol enjoyed music, collecting coins, good food and spending time with her friends and her family. She loved to laugh and had a great smile.

Surviving are three brothers, Charles, Dave and Byron, many dear friends and family. In addition to her parent’s, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Lottie and Janna and brothers, Ted and Bob.

The family is planning a celebration of life, details will be shared at a later date.
