Christopher Martin Anderson

Christopher Martin Anderson, age 71, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, November 9, 2025, at his home. He was born in Racine, December 15, 1953, son of the late Leslie and Joan (Nee: Rogahn) Anderson. Chris graduated from Wm Horlick High School “Class of 1972” where he excelled in football. He went on to play football for Carthage College and he earned a degree in Physical Education and Health. His love of football led him to play for the Racine Gladiators Minor League Team.

On September 5, 1981, he was united in marriage to Susan Nevin and they shared 40 wonderful years when Susan passed in December 2021. Chris worked as a computer operator for a number of years at J.I. Case Co. He was a member of St Edward’s and St. Richard’s Catholic Churches and enjoyed singing in the choir. He will be remembered as one who was easy going and had a great love for his family especially the grandkids. Chris was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his children, Amy (Jeremy) Koleske, Phillip (Leah) Anderson; grandchildren, Henry and Ezra Koleske, Sophia and Lincoln Anderson; his sister, Susan Anderson; in-laws, Nancy Nevin (Dan Stroman), Jean (John) Becker; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

A memorial service will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 11 am followed by inurnment at Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet prior to the service 10-11 am
