Cynthia "Cyndi" Jean Hansen

Cynthia Jean Hansen (Cyndi), age 60, originally from Racine, passed away on December 28, 2020 in Phoenix, Arizona. She was born on September 20, 1960 to Harold & Lorraine Hansen. She attended St. John Nepomunk Church & school & graduated from St. Catherine’s, class of 1978. Following high school, she was the receptionist for Dr. Russell Ruetz, DDS & then for Dr. Robert Bissegger, DDS, after Dr. Ruetz’s retirement. She was employed there until she moved to Phoenix in the early ‘90’s. In AZ, she was employed at the Doubletree Phoenix Airport Hotel as the restaurant manager for 28 years, until she became ill.

Cyndi was known for her beautiful infectious smile & her willingness to help others. She will truly be missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents & her sister, Karen Hansen. She is survived by her niece & nephew, Amber Gowins & Jason Gowins, who unselfishly cared for her in her final months. She is further survived by half-sisters, Heather Hansen & Heidi Robinson of AZ. She is also survived by numerous cousins & other relatives, from both sides of her parents, in the Racine area. Her Racine family is very thankful to both Jason & Amber for being there & caring for her in her final months.

A virtual service & celebration of Cyndi’s life is scheduled for Monday, February 15, 2021 at 1:00 PM CST. Cremation has taken place, per Cyndi’s wishes.
