Cynthia Pauline Zember, age 73, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Hospice Alliance in Pleasant Prairie. She was born in Racine, WI, December 1, 1952, daughter of the late Henry and Monica (Nee: Braun) Kokke.

Cindy graduated from Wm Horlick High School “Class of 1970”. On January 16, 1971, she was united in marriage to Donald C. Zember who preceded her in death April 2, 2022. She loved animals and was employed as an assistant trainer for 15 years at Dairyland Greyhound Park which led her to become a Greyhound Adoption Liaison. She will be remembered as being smart, spirited and adventurous with a lively sense of humor. She kept everyone on their toes! An amazing baker with a generous spirit, everyone knew of her famous cheesecakes. Cindy found joy in finding treasures at garage sales, dancing, crocheting, trying her hand at slot machines at the casinos, and cuddling with her cat, Jelly Bean. She will be dearly missed.

Surviving are her children, Donna (Joel) Rossman, Denise (Eric) Vandernoot and Rachel Zember; 6 grandchildren: Jeffrey, Alexandra, Joseph, Hailey, Aaron and Rayvn; sister-in-law, Patricia Kokke; sister-in-laws; Viola (Stan) Feiker, Irene Niles, Mary Jo (Wayne) Wojtczak, Nancy (Joseph) Zember; nieces, nephews other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brother, Albert Kokke and brother-in-law Joseph (Nancy) Zember.

Per her wishes private funeral services will be held with entombment at Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery. She very much missed her husband of 51 years and will be comforted being reunited with him in death.
