Dale Thomas Jansa, age 71, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at Ascension All Saints Hospital. He was born in Racine, WI, February 15, 1952, son of the late Arthur and Constance (Nee: Johnson) Jansa.

Dale graduated from Washington Park High School “Class of 1970”. It was at a CB Club gathering that he met the love of his life, Sandra J. Larsen and on August 19, 1978, they were united in marriage. Dale was employed as a police officer with the Village of Wind Point for a couple years and then employed with Racine Steel Castings for 10 years. Dales’ passion was cars and following Racine Steel he worked for a number of Auto Parts Stores including Hougard’s Auto Parts and Service Station, NAPA Auto Parts, and Olson Supply. Dale was a member and usher of St. Richard’s Catholic Church and a member of the Belle City Communicators CB Club. He was a collector of sorts who loved to tinker with cars, scrap, and was a sports fan especially when it came to rooting for the Packers, Brewers, and Bucks. Above all Dale treasured time spent with his family. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Sandy; sons, Christopher (Sarah) Jansa, Joseph Jansa; granddaughter, Riley Knauer; sister-in-law, Camille Jansa; brother-in-law Randy Larsen; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Keith and his brother, Dennis.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, February 21, 2024, 11am at St. Richard’s Catholic Church, 1503 Grand Ave, with Rev. Jose Mario Nieto officiating. Relatives and friends can meet with the family Tuesday at the funeral home 5-7 pm and Wednesday at the church 10 am until time of Mass. Memorials to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital have been suggested.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Ascension All Saints ICU staff for their loving and compassionate care.
