Dana Victoria Barker-Scott

Danna Victoria Barker-Scott was born on December 8th, 1960 in Racine, WI at St Mary’s Hospital to the late Ruthie “Lil Ruth” Lee Barker and Daniel Williams Jr. Danna graduated from Horlick High School in Racine, WI in 1978. Danna had two daughters with the late Dwayne Eric Jackson born Chicago, IL and one daughter with the late Willie James Clark born Oxford, MS. Danna loved to play cards, go to bingo/casino, cooking, dancing, listening to music and loved being around her family and friends. Everyone who knew Danna knew she had a heart of gold. She loved her family and friends very much. Danna moved to Canton Mississippi where she married. Danna then moved to Tucson, AZ which is where she lived for 22 years, where she shared her love with her new friends and extended family. She confessed to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in Tucson, AZ at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. Danna divorced and then in 2009 returned home to Racine, WI to be with her family. On Tuesday, March 17, 2020 Danna Victoria Barker-Scott loving daughter, sister, aunt, and mother of 3 daughters passed away at age 59 in Racine, WI at Ascension Hospital.

Danna is preceded in death by; her Mother; Ruthie “Lil Ruth” Lee Barker, Grandparents; Nina Mae Patterson & George Clower, Grandparents; Daniel Williams Sr. & Helen Franklin, Sister Joanne Jenkins (late husband Dennis Jenkins), Niece; LaMonya Day, Great Niece; Anayah Gage, Cousins; Brenda Dixon & Barbara Anne White-Spann. She leaves to cherish her memory; Father; Daniel Williams Jr Racine, WI, 3 daughters; Essence Barker (late Patrick Culpepper) Racine, WI, Ebony Barker Racine, WI, and Tonia Barker (Anthony Kane) Racine, WI, 5 Sisters; Janet Barker Racine, WI, Joyce Barker Racine, WI, Vanessa Hasan Racine, WI, Danielle Oertel Altamonte Springs, FL and Catrina Oertel Winter Springs, FL and 3 Brothers; Milton Love (Lynn Love), Kirk Barker (Bobbie Renee Barker) Racine, WI, and Jimmy Beavers (Carmen Taylor) Racine, WI, 9 grandchildren; Mahalia Barker-Nelson (Daniel McNees), Dwayne Weaver, DeShaia Weaver, Tionne D’nae Williams, N’kosi Elem, Akilah Elem, William Barker-Palmer, Julius Barker-Palmer, Estreya Quinones Torres 4 great grandchildren; Miles Scott, Narice Nelson-McNees, Clementine Martin, Ares Nelson-McNees, 2 good friends; Sandra Person and Willie Esther Mosley along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends too numerous to name.
