Darcia Lynn Nabors

Darcia Nabors, born on April 16, 1962, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2024, at the age of 62 in Racine, Wisconsin. She was born in Rock Island, Illinois, to Ethel Reed and Walt Nabors. In the mid-1980s, Darcia moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with her sister Lorraine, where she began her longtime career with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Darcia accepted the Lord at an early age and remained committed to sharing the gospel throughout her life.

Known for her kindness, generosity, and love for her family, Darcia touched the lives of everyone she encountered. Her spirit, strength, and compassion will be deeply missed. She leaves behind cherished memories for her siblings: Ervin (Elsa) Dixon, Geneva (Ken) Washington, Edna Meadors, Stanley Dixon, Duane (Gail) Kyles, Michael (Tracey) Kyles, James "Stevie" Kyles, and Laukesha (Lowell) Holmes, as well as a host of nieces and nephews whom she adored. Special thanks to Vonda, Carolyn, Carla, and Drew at Excel Four Adult Family Home for their exceptional care and love for Darcia.

Darcia was preceded in death by her mother Ethel Reed, father Walt Nabors, sister Lorraine Williams, and brother Richard Dixon. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
