David J. Dygon

David Jeffrey Dygon, age 68, passed away Friday, November 1, 2024, at Aurora Medical Center, Mt. Pleasant. He was born in Racine, December 3, 1955, son of the late William and Marion (Nee: Gerber) Dygon.

Dave graduated from Wm Horlick High School “Class of 1974”. From 1982 till present, he was a partner in Dygon’s Auto and Truck Repair. Dave’s passion was cars. He was a big NASCAR fan and enjoyed Quarter Scale Radio Control Cars. He was a 23-year member and past co-chair of the Quarter Scale Auto Club. He spent many weekends as a crew chief and spotter as a member of the Dygon Racing Team. Dave will be remembered for his love of cooking and his sense of humor. He was a devoted brother and uncle who will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his brother, Paul (Nora) Dygon; sister-in-law, Jackie Grigg; niece, Carrie (Paul Bane) Dygon; great nephew and great niece, Jaxson and Marion “Mimi” Bane; good friend and team driver, Alex Livingston; other relatives and dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother William and nephew, Michael.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home, Thursday, November 7, 2024, 11 am. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet Wednesday at the funeral home 5-7pm and Thursday, 10-11 am.
