Deanna Gutierrez

Deanna Gutierrez, age 52, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2014 at Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints Medical Center. Deanna was born in Racine, July 6, 1961, daughter of the late Ysidro and Adeline “Nina” (Nee: Pavia) Gutierrez.

Deanna was very devoted to her job. She was employed as an Early Childhood Education Assistant with the Racine Unified School District for thirty-four years, and was last working with special needs children. She was a proud Green Bay Packer fan. Deanna’s most joy came from spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. They always brought a smile to her face and held a special place in her heart. She will be deeply missed.

Deanna is survived by her sisters, Elizabeth (Robert) Bueno, Carrie (Daniel) Renteria Sr.; brothers, Stephen Gutierrez, Thomas Ysidro Gutierrez; nieces, Katrina R. Bueno Munoz, Alyssa R. Gutierrez; nephews, Justin R. Renteria, Daniel Renteria Jr.; great nephews, Mario Munoz Jr., Ramiro A. Munoz, Valentino Y. Munoz; great niece, Mia L. Renteria; other relatives and dear friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 20, 2014, 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 12:00 P.M. Memorials to Myasthenia Gravis Foundation have been suggested.
