Dianne Crisp (née Kurhajec) 83, passed away peacefully in Racine, WI surrounded by her family on June 20, 2025.

Born in Racine, WI on December 12, 1941, to the late Emil & Marjorie (nee Sands) Kurhajec.

Dianne attended St Catherine’s High School, and after high school she became a stylist for Zahn’s department store.

She was fortunate to have three great loves in her lifetime.

Wed in 1996, Dianne and Peter Crisp spent the last 29 years traveling the country, decorating and caring for their beautiful homes and gardens as well as spending time with their loved ones. After her retirement they both decided to move to Arkansas, where they lived for 12 years before returning to Caledonia to be closer to family.

Her marriage to Gene Fisher was one of adventure and laughter. They were each other’s biggest rivals every time Dianne’s Packers played the Bears.

She and Daniel Rosenberg raised five children together. Renée Welfel, Shelley (Larry) Alexander, Wes Rosenberg, Melissa (Tim) Koscal, and Michael Rosenberg. Together they shared 10 grandchildren. Annie Rosauer, Lindsey Gergen, Courtney Braun, Meredith Welfel, Erik Welfel, Andrew Rosenberg, Savannah Rosenberg, Olivia Rosenberg, Wesley Rosenberg, and Thomas Rosenberg plus 10 great-grandchildren.

Ever the impeccable dresser, Dianne’s new outfits were never complete without new jewelry, shoes and a purse. She began her career in 1970 with Racine Piggly Wiggly as a Meat Wrapper. She spent the next 34 years creating mischief with her coworkers and greeting her regular customers with a friendly smile, until her retirement. Dianne loved to socialize with close friends, go out dancing to anywhere with a dance floor, while enjoying a southern comfort old fashioned sweet with olives. She spent many evenings gathered around the kitchen table playing cards with family and friends and also reading various genres of books.

Through her marriage to Peter, she is survived by her stepchildren Rob (Michele) Crisp, Renee Brunelli and Randy (Ruzanna) Crisp and her step-grandchildren, Tyler and Austin Crisp, Alyssa Brees, and Raquel and Roman Crisp, her sisters-in-law Sally Kurhajec, and Connie Kurhajec, whom she shared a special friendship, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Glen Kurhajec and Ronnie Kurhajec, her husband Gene Fisher, and son-in-law Mark Brunelli.

A memorial service will be held at the funeral home, Wednesday, July 2, 2025, 5:30 pm with Rev. Ken Mich officiating. Relatives and friends may meet prior to the service 4-5:30 pm. Private inurnment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32.
