Dolores E. Davis

Dolores Elaine Davis, age 96, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Waterford Senior Living. She was born in Somers, WI, August 30, 1928, daughter of the late Benjamin and Thecla (Nee: Schlitz) Arentz.

On November 1, 1947, at St. George Catholic Church she was united in marriage to Chester L. Davis who passed away September 19, 2014. Together they raised 5 children, Michael, Lynne, Phillip, Jodie, and Julie. They farmed in the Union Grove Area for over 50 years. She was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Dolores was very creative and enjoyed sewing, tailoring suits, prom dresses, knitting, crochet and cross stich. In her younger years she enjoyed bowling, golfing and playing cards. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be dearly missed.

Surviving are 3 children, Michael (Jill) Davis of Port St. Joe, FL, Lynne (Ted) Davis of Phoenix, AZ, Jodie K. Moore of Waukesha; 4 grandchildren, Eric (Greta) Moore, Craig Moore (Ellen), Tanya (Zach) Masella, Aaron Davis; 3 great grandchildren; in-l; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents brothers and sisters and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Phillip and her daughter, Julie.

Private services will be held with interment will be held at West Lawn Memorial Park.
