Donald F. Marino, age 95, passed away on Monday June 17, 2024. Donald was born in Racine on December 8, 1928, son of the late Frank and Edith (nee: Lencioni) Marino.

Don graduated from Wm Horlick High School “Class of 1946”. On June 9, 1951, he was united in marriage to the love of his life Pietta Marie Presta. They raised two children, Karen and Samuel, and were married for nearly seventy beautiful years before Pietta passed away on December 20, 2020. In his younger years, he enjoyed working as a barber in Milwaukee. Don was employed with SC Johnson for twenty-five years before retiring. He was a member of St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed sports, baseball, basketball, football and golf, his travels to Italy and Las Vegas, and his annual winter trips to Arizona. Above all Don will be best remembered for his great love and devotion to his family.

Don will be dearly missed by his son, Samuel (Shelley) Marino; grandchildren, Martin Marino, Samantha (Josh) Netzinger and Christina Marino; great grandchildren, Bailey, Bentley, Bennett and Melanie; brother, Richard (Marilyn) Marino; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Marlene Arndt, Lawrence (JoAnn) Presta and Virgil Presta; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents and wife, Don was also preceded in death by his daughter, Karen on May 20, 2024, and his siblings, Eugene (Carmela) Marino, and Doris (Harry) Grier.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday July 1, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. with a service to start at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32.
