Donald Lee Fleeger

Donald Lee Fleeger, age 72, passed away Friday, December 16, 2022, at Ascension All Saints Hospital. He was born in Slippery Rock, PA, son of the late Walter and Sara (Nee:Chippi) Fleeger.

On July 12, 1968, at Slippery Rock he was united in marriage to Ellen L. Smith, and they were blessed with 3 children, Paula, Donald, and Daniel. Moving to Racine in 1969 Don was employed by Harris Metals for a number of years.

Don enjoyed woodworking, mechanics and was a handyman. With any situation that presented a problem in one way or another he would “Fleeger it out”. Don was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his wife, Ellen; children, Paula (Joe) Westman, Daniel (Amy) Fleeger; 6 grandchildren, Andrew J. Westman, Donald J. Fleeger Jr, Brianna (Cory) Kloppedal, Joseph J. Westman Jr., Ashley (Nathan) Karpinski, Dakota Fleeger; 9 great grandchildren, Brennen, Nathan, Levi, Kolton, Kynlee, Alaina, Cole, Skylar, and Baylee; sister, Rose Smith; brother, Paul Fleeger; sister-in-law, Jeanette Fleeger; other in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Donald J; and siblings, Sally (Tom) McDougal, Walter “Sonny” Fleeger, James Fleeger, and Ronald Fleeger.

A memorial service will be held at the funeral home Monday, December 26, 2022, 6 pm. Relatives and friends may meet prior to the funeral 4-6 pm
