Surrounded by his family, Earl A. Porcaro, age 84, passed away Friday July 16, 2010 at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints Medical Center. Earl was born in Racine, April 22, 1926, son of the late Fiore and Barbara (Nee: Denoto) Porcaro.

Earl attended Wm Horlick High School and served his country in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Delta. On May 29, 1954 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church he married the love of his life Josephine Ingrasci. Earl was employed by Modine Mfg for 45 years retiring in 1988. He also bartended at Brusha’s Club for thirty years where he became affectionely known as “Uncle Earl”. Earl was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, a 60 year member of Roma Lodge and member of the Modine Twenty Year Club. He enjoyed his vacations in Arizona and California but mostly he loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Jo; children, Barbara (John) Suprak, Tom Porcaro, Randy (Karen) Porcaro; his precious loving granddaughters, Gina and Nicole; his brother, Anthony “Tony” Porcaro; sister, Betty Valente; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Joe Ingrasci, Tom Ingrasci, Oscar ”Ozzie” Brusha, and Rose Malone; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 8 brothers and sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, July 19. 2010, 1:00 P.M at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 6400 Spring St. with Reverend William Dietzler officiating assisted by Deacon Russell Missureli. Interment will full military honors will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Sunday at the funeral home 1-4 P.M. (Roma Service at 3 P.M.) and on Monday at the church 12:30 P.M. until time of Mass. Memorials to one’s favorite charity have been suggested.
